We couldn’t have asked for better conditions for our trip to Devil’s Lake last weekend. With perfect weather, clear skies, and a stunning Hunter’s Moon overhead, our scouts took on the 7-mile loop up the bluffs and around the lake. 
The vistas were amazing, with the incredible Wisconsin fall color starting to show through. For a few of our scouts and even some of our parents, this was their first time being amazed by the splendor of Devil’s Lake. Some scouts even went bouldering afterward, showing off their climbing skills! 
That evening we had a campfire program put on by some of our scouts and even some singalong kitchen patrol. The only surprise last weekend was a pair of raccoons who decided to check out our trailer. 
All in all, it was an amazing weekend of adventure, teamwork, and memories!
