SUMMARY:2025 Campsgiving Campout
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Troop 5 and Crew 5 Scouts\, Parents and Leaders! \nCome join us for the Campsgiving Campout! This is our last campout of 2025 and a great opportunity to showcase your camp cooking skills for family and friends! A Troop 5 favorite. \nNote that we are at Camp Reinberg this year\, which is a change from last year. \nPatrol leaders – Contact your patrols this week and direct scouts to sign up.  Registration is open through November 9. \nDrivers always needed!  If you will drive\, please select “Adult Camper” and you can provide information about how many people you can transport. \nMeet: Friday\, November 14 at 5:30 pm – at First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette (FPCW). \nReturn: Sunday\, November 16 at 12-1PM – at First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette (FPCW).  We’ll contact you approximately 30 minutes before arrival. \nCheck below for address and map of location. We will be at the campsite and will host the Campsgiving meal at the nearby pavilion at 4:30 pm on Saturday\, November 15. \nBring appropriate gear: Check out the troop’s Cold Weather Campout Packing List. Not all equipment listed is necessary. Check the weather.  Speak with your patrol leader at the Monday night Troop meeting if you have questions.

The Troop/Crew will be busy cooking a great Thanksgiving style feast for all to enjoy. \nNote that we are at Camp Reinberg this year\, which is a change from past years. \nMeet: Saturday\, November 15 at 4:30 pm – Dinner will be served at 5:00 PM. \nCheck below for address and map of location. We will be serving dinner in the campground pavilion. \nPlease sign up and let us know how many people are coming so we can plan on enough food. \nSuggested donation of $10 collected at dinner\, please bring cash if you are so inclined.
