SUMMARY:2026 June Adventure Day Campout
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Troop and Crew 5! \nCome join us for our last campout of the season at Camp Crown! \nThanks to our fundraising efforts\, Troop 5 has earned an Adventure Day at Camp Crown featuring special outdoor activities like archery\, shooting sports\, etc! \nPatrol leaders – Coordinate with your patrol to get them to sign up and select a grubmaster.  We need accurate counts to plan properly for the campouts!  The signup will be open until Sunday\, May 31. \nDrivers always needed!  If you will drive\, please select “Adult Camper – RSVP” and you can provide information about how may people you can transport.  Adults and youth must have up-to-date health forms part A and B for this campout.  In addition\, all adults wishing to camp must have completed a current Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT).  This can take up to a week to complete so please start ASAP if you are not up-to-date.  If you are interested in being the Lead Assistant Scout Master (ASM) or the Committee Grubmaster for this campout\, please make a note in the memo field. \nGear Pull: Wednesday\, June 3 at 7:00 pm – First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette (FPCW)  \nDeparture: Saturday\, June 6 at 7:30 am from FPCW \nReturn: Sunday\, June 7 around mid-morning. Everyone should plan to meet back at the church at 12 pm to unload the troop gear.   \nPlease find the campout packing list here. Scouts\, remember to bring your scout handbooks to record advancements! \n
