SUMMARY:2026 Advancement Campout
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Troop and Crew 5! \nCome join us for the Advancement Campout and Porkies Trek Shakedown!  A Troop/Crew 5 favorite where Scouts learn new skills like axe safety and knots and generally have a great time.  Always a fun campout! \nPatrol leaders – Coordinate with your patrol to get them to sign up and select a grubmaster.  We need accurate counts to plan properly for the campouts!  The signup will be open until Sunday\, April 19. \nDrivers always needed!  If you will drive\, please select “Adult Camper – RSVP” and you can provide information about how may people you can transport.  Adults and youth must have up-to-date health forms part A and B for this campout.  In addition\, all adults wishing to camp must have completed a current Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT).  This can take up to a week to complete so please start ASAP if you are not up-to-date.  If you are interested in being the Lead Assistant Scout Master (ASM) or the Committee Grubmaster for this campout\, please make a note in the memo field. \nGear Pull: Wednesday\, April 22 at 7:00 pm – First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette (FPCW).   \nLeave: Friday\, April 24 at 4:30 pm – FPCW. \nReturn: Sunday\, April 26 around 1 pm – FPCW. \nPlease find the campout packing list here.
