Scouting provides boys and girls (ages 11-18) with opportunities to learn new skills while having fun. For over 95 years, the Scouts of Troop 5 have participated in a wide range of exciting events and activities.
Troop 5 have served the community of Wilmette, IL since 1922. We are chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette. We are very proud to be the home of over 300 Eagle Scouts.
Troop 5 is comprised of 3 separate groups:
- Troop 5B is for boys, comprised of late 5th thru 8th grade youth
- Troop 5G is for girls, also comprised of late 5th thru 8th grade youth
- Venture Crew 5 is an inclusive program for males and females aged 14-20 (or 13 and completed the 8th grade)

Troop 5B & 5G meetings are typically held Monday nights at FPCW, 7:30 – 8:45pm, with ~3 Troop or Crew meetings per month. Crew 5 meetings are also held Monday nights at FPCW, from 8:30 – 9:30pm. All are welcome to join us at these times to learn more about our Troop.
